we went to see Harry Potter and we (three of us) ate a WHOLE bag of popcorn!!! what piggys we were!!! (I wouldn't let anyone drink anything -- cuz I didn't want to go out to the restroom during the movie )

We loved it!!!

we missed some parts of the book, but the movie was AWESOME!!!!

now only a few more days until book 7 comes out. It will be a family race to see who can read it first so we can talk about it!!!! The joy of teenagers!!!

No really, it IS one of the joys of teenagers!!! We can all do something "alone" and still enjoy talking to each other about it afterward!!!

otherwise they are into the MP3/IPODs and computers and hanging out with their friends in the basement.......

only one week of summer school left!!!!



today we are watching "stomp the yard" and then writing about the conflict and how it was resolved, what other routes could have been taken and was it the best decision...... anything not to turn on the lights on this hot and humid day in CHICAGO!!!! (remember we don't have a/c in our schools)

We're heading home today-I think 5 days back with my Parents is enough-for them and us!!!

and today is the 1st HOT day we've had since coming here-and we're leaving

I mean it was so cold Sat night we had on jackets and so did our WI friends-I wonder why we moved to a warmer climate-summer weekends like these just seal the deal as to why
