just wait till your ds is a teen and brings home friends and family to spend the night:scared1:

The house is ours!!! we have been working on it like crazy!!

need to be out of our apt by july 15th... so we have alot of packing to do!!

Darren had his 1st day at camp today and came home as red as a lobster!! He is in such pain I am hoping he will feel beeter so he can go to disney on thursday!

I am so mad at his camp right now!! and helpful hints for sunburn would be great!!

:sad2: Oh my, I can't imagine three teenage boys :scared: ... a few weeks ago I had three boys ages 5, 6 and 7 plus my DD....I couldn't keep up with cleaning, cooking and feeding them! :scared1:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

At least our boys are old enough now to help with the cleaning and cooking. (And I must say that they do help out a lot.) And they have to carry in all the groceries that I'm always bringing home. :rotfl:

DH and I are both only children so we never knew what it was like with more than one kid in the house.

It still amazes me how much the three of them can eat! They had a super special on Kraft cheese at the store....regularly $1.98 on sale for $.98! Plus I had coupons for $1.00 of 3 packages. So that makes it only $.65 a package. So, I bought 30 packages! :lmao: And I'll probably buy a few more (20-30) before the sale is over at the end of the week! ;)

::yes::

Speaking of teens and friends....Matthew's birthday is Friday. We told him last weekend that he could have a friend stay over night. He called his one friend to ask him yesterday and found out that he's at camp. So then last night he called another friend to see if he could spend the night. I called home to check on the boys when I was at the FD and he answered. I asked if everything was okay (meaning with all of them at home) and he said no, and then started crying. Seems the other friend has plans Friday night with his dad and can't come over either. I felt so bad for DS. :sad1: He's usually so easygoing and doesn't get upset about stuff like this. I tried to explain that we'll just have some fun family time because DH and I have both taken off work that day. I know once he opens his present he won't care whether friends...or even family...are there or not! ;)

CONGRATULATIONS ON THE HOUSE KELLY!!

Sorry about Darren'ts sun burn. You would think that the camp would make them put on sunscreen. He's going to have to be very careful at Disney and not get more sunburn on top of it!

Sorry - no real remedies for sunburn except to say DO NOT use vinegar. It will sooth the pain of the burn immediately but will make it peel faster and worse. We learned the hard way on that one!

DD called me yesterday morning all upset. She thought she had a piece of spinach stuck between her front teeth. She tried flossing to get it out and when she pulled the floss out her one front tooth cracked and chipped right between the front teeth. :sad2: She asked me to try to get her in with the dentist. I called yesterday and they said they could see her this morning so she is on her way up. And, naturally, she can't afford a trip to the dentist. But even DH agreed that we need to help her out on this one. If it was a back tooth I'd tell her to get it pulled, but with a front tooth it's different.

I know we said we wouldn't/shouldn't help her out anymore - but....

What do you guys think? Did we do right on this one??

YIKES! That is a tough call.

hi everyone!...
i AM a teenager, so i would know what we eat...
my brother and three of his friends one time single-handedly ate a Beast pizza(Here is what the website from Snappy Tomato says about it: More than 6 pounds of Mouthwatering Flavor! Serves 8-10 adults.)...
that is a lot of pizza for 4 kids!...
but hey, these are no ordinary kids...
they were all like 17...
