maybe you could exersice during the day too :thumbsup2 ...that really helped me.

It really is a good school. Basically back to the basics from long ago when the parents were involved in the kids schooling. I mean it's really nice when i walk into school and they all know me and know DD. I bet a lot of parents don't even know the name of their teachers.

Sounds like extortion (sp?). My neices go to a private school and they were given fundraiser tickets to sell. My sister bought a bunch and returned some (she has 2 kids that brought them home)...the school returned the tickets to her and told her is was a "mandatory" fundraiser  Hello, why don't they just raise the tuition instead is it is a forced sell :confused3

::yes:: in a way I guess it could be. But the budget goes towards things the school needs instead of a full time nurse or office staff to man the clinic.

I am really happy there. I just wish some of the other Mom's in DD's class would step up. I know SEVERAL don't work at all.

that's good...as long as you and DD are happy :thumbsup2 I suppose everything has its tradeoff, the mandatory PTA meeting seemed odd, but it must be a great way to meet other parents. My sweet boy is starting K this year...I am not sure if I am ready :(

I am VERY happy their. They don't put up with any crap from any child. So the teacher can teach and not have to worry about kids acting out. Plus you see a lot of the same parents around school all the time so you really get to know a lot of the parents.

I wasn't ready. But DD was. She was like you can leave now. I was like I will just stay here to make sure you get into class okay. DD - MOM!!!

Do you have a community center around. We do and it is a lot cheaper than a normal gym.

LifeStyles has a pay as you go thingy around here.

I really have to do something about it! I'm gonna go low carb again as much as I even hate to say that, but it's the only thing that works for me :confused3 Plus I want to look good for 2 reasons

1. to make someone see what he's missing (ok I know it's childish but I don't care :rotfl2: )

and

2. I want to look good in April when Victor get's home :teeth:
