Lyn when did you mail your candy exchange package?

Mine still has not shown up. And I mailed it Monday and it was only going to Chicago.

Didn't one of yours already show up?

Lyn's package to NC arrived today! She had Andrew's name and he was so thrilled with his package. She even included a Maui Police Dept. shirt! He can't wait to wear it to school.

I have been thinking about trying to lighten my hair again or doing something different for the last three months and I think I am going to do it TODAY.....I didn't know that Kliz had darker hair than mine and hers looks great so I am inspired to try again. I made an appointment at a salon I have been to, but with a woman I don't know so hopefully it will be o.k. My coworkers think I am too gutsy...but my DSIL was just in and she told me to go for it and it if looks good she might try too We'll see how it goes

Lyn - Just thought I'd let you know that I showed DH that picture that you had posted and asked him what he thought! He really liked the hair!

boy--- hearing what you all put in your candy package, I feel bad, I just filled it with a TON of candy, about 6 different kinds!!!! hope they like it just the same.

Hi Pam!!

I mailed ours yesterday.. I'm hoping for a Monday delivery for them all.

All of ours went out today and I'm hoping they'll arrive at their destinations by Monday!

getting ready for the "snow" they are predicting tonight. I am starting NOT to believe them, as it never snows when they say, and it snows a TON when they say "just a dusting"!!! although I am thankful for the warmer weather (keeps the heating bills down).

We're supposed to get 4-6" tomorrow evening into Sunday. If so, the kids will be out of school Monday 'cause the high Sunday is only going to be 25 so none of it will melt off!

I'm sure whoever gets it will love it. That's the nice thing about these exchanges, you never know what you'll get 'cause everyone else tastes are different. I'm sure no one is going to complain about a "ton" of candy! I know I wouldn't!

In Chicago, the only way they close school is if they can't move the snow plows!!!! The mayors reasoning is that "its the safest place for the kids to be" I agree (although going out it that weather is just as dangerous) , but I like snow days just the same!!!!

We're in such a mountainous area that it doesn't take a whole lot for them to cancel school. That and there are so many remote areas around here that they can't possibly get them all to school!
