I was really sick, too sick to DIS and I finally felt a little better by Christmas Eve and then it was family, family, family...This is the first Christmas I lost a few pounds instead of gaining a few The puppies are still super cute and everyone at home is finally well. I have so much work at work...I am going to log off soon and get cracking...

I missed everyone and am glad you had safe Christmases!

Thanks...good luck with you doctorate. My DH just finished getting his masters while working fulltime and now he wants to get his PhD, well see how it goes...there are not too many programs offered where we live.

Well I'm glad you're all feeling better! It seems like it took forever for it to run it's way thru the whole family.

I think I got three rounds of it...a slight one with DD, another hit on my B-day and then on Friday I was knocked down But everyone is well and safe and we had a nice time...so all is well.

Thank you, we did have a nice time and the kids had a blast. We have a lot of family near us so we rotate between Dhes side and my side....on Monday morning DH helped me clean the house, then DH and DS went hunting with friends and DD and I did some shopping. Then we stopped at my DMIL to visit, then came home and my mom and sister who is visiting and the all kids came, then after they left DHes sister and her boys came over...they were at our home for a while and then DH, DS and the guys got home and all ate dinner...so, it was a busy day...it was hard to come to work, but it felt good to be here after being gone so much the last several weeks....I should get busy
