Our DD's stopped beliving this year
they still believe there is a "spirit of Christmas"
that helps Moms and Dad's but they know the guy in the red suit is not real

they used to belive FIL WAS SANTA and when he died christmas took a real hard blow around here
but this year things seem better
it will be our third Christmas without him he died in Nov 03 so that year was really hard

DD knows that the Mall Santa's are just helpers for the REAL Santa. I think she believes that the Epcot Santa is the REAL Santa. He looks good.

I have a feeling the 1st Graders are going to take care of her believeing in Santa.

My DD admitted to knowing the truth this year too-I asked her,since I knew she knew and she was relieved to admit that Yes-she knew but was afraid if she said anything she wouldn't get anything for Christmas-silly girl

she said I knew last year but was afraid if I told you I knew the presents would stop

Erica just turned 10 I thought maybe i would get another year from her but my nephew told her the truth over the summer

The week between Christmas and New Years.

Our office decided to close that week same as DH decided to do with his.
So we are doing something. Not sure what yet.

Too bad we didn't get in on the Dell $399.00 laptop deal a couple of weeks ago. People are just now starting to get them and they are reall happy with them.

Holy cow that laptop is VERY pricey.

I know-I was yelling at DS this morning-cause I'm so tired of having to get him out the door-...get your jacket on,and linner!!,and where's your hat-at school that's a good place for it, and where's your gloves-Hello!!! It's cold outside-well then I started getting really mad cause he's ready to go and then just sits there doing nothing and we end up being late!!!Kids you gotta love them
