Cold Negative temps right now and a high about 12 degrees-Yucky poo!!!!!

WOW!!! 10 Days til Disney-I even started getting clothes together last night-sorted thru our winter stuff and fall and summer stuff-I don't plan on packing a lot of shorts though,and kids are wearing them 2-3x's week for Basketball-so I'll be doing wash all day Tuesday-fun fun!!!!

I guess in certain areas of the country
on Dec 5th St Nick comes and fills the kids stocking or shoes

Yep that is correct. I remember them putting shoes out in Kindergarten and St. Nick came to visit. I totally forgot about it.

DD kindergarten class learned about ALL the different cultures of the holidays. I can't believe I forgot about it.

It's a Western European(German) Holiday-and since my Mom is a German Immigrant and my Dad was raised in Germany since age of 2 we always celebrated it-Most of the families here do to-we have a strong German Heritage in this area

I thought it was German or Dutch. Couldn't remember.

I forgot about it once and the Kids came home from school all bummed out-that was the Last time I did that!!!
