I won't see anything that warm until next Monday at the earliest

Our fire department Christmas party is today so I gotta go down to the fire department later and put some finishing touches on the decorations and decorate the tables and make up some gift bags for the kids. It's being catered so at least no cooking!

Ours is Wed and we only do cookies and sweets no real food
but I am not working it this year

2-1/2 to 3 hours away! And it's an easy drive for me. I went down there a few weeks ago. Why? Are you going to Asheville?????

No I mean I wouldn't be a happy camper if I had to dig my way out from under a foot of snow to do it

But if you had fresh fudge I would dig out of 2 feet

DH and I are both on the fire department. I get delegated along with one other woman ('cause we're women and it's a woman thing) to plan all the parties. Actually, she and I always volunteer 'cause we enjoying the planning. The Christmas party is for all of the volunteers and their families.

I just found out my uncle and Aunt have a camp there
they live in FLA
and if they get a chance to come up this year (2006)
we are gonna try to meet them there

I don't know yet as he just got custody of his two toddler granddaughters and I don't know yet about him being allowed to take them out of state

we have had many years like that

I really hate it when people thnk Mom and I are just Auxillary memebers

UMM no we actually fight the fires to

My Mom is 1st assistant chief now and has been for a few years

Right now I am not active because we moved out of town but i kept a social membership so i can still help out at the functions and maybe someday if we move closer or they change the by laws get active again

I mean I only live 10 minutes from town
i can beat some in town members to the station
I know cause i have tried just to see
