That is normally how it is here. We get cooler than HOT than cooler than HOT. No wonder everyone gets sick.

I was thinking the same thing-I was watching a home improvement show and the guy tryed that and got knocked off the ladder OUCH!!! But as long as they know what they're doing -it would still make me nervous though

Okay that is just crazy. I would be making sure His life insurance policy was up to date.

If they are doing a whole house they shut it off for parts but most times they
wire everything Hot or Live
they say it is easier

But you gotta look at who taught them
My great grandfather was the city electcian back when they street lights were turned on with a key
He would go out in a thunderstorm to turn the lights on or off and a few times the lights would get struck by lightning he would get a zap and than move on

He taught Dad who then taught DH (years ago while we were dating)
that if you respect electrcity there is no reason to fear it

the first time Dad and DH worked on something together live DH thought Dad was jsut trying to do away with him
now they work on stuff together all the time

i gave up worrying it doesnt'help cause they are gonna do it anyway
