.... well NOTHING is as painful as sitting in a room full of strangers waiting for jury duty!!! (THAT'S how I spent MY day!!! )

All of our kids enjoy music and although I joke about how painful it is I'm glad that they're involved in it. DD now plays violin, clarinet, alto clarinet, a little on the sax and keyboard, DS13 plays violin, trumpet, keyboard and a little piano, DS11 plays violin, trumpet, keyboard and a little piano, guitar and electric guitar, DS16 just tinkers with music but loves to listen to music and has asked for a guitar for his birthday next month. Oh yeah, and DH is learning bass! Me, ha! I can tinker on the piano.

We are getting her a Keyboard for Christmas. It comes with a Learning DVD. We will see how she does and than maybe think about lessons.

I love the Sax.

DH and I have no musically talent Some people are gifted and some aren't...I am an aren't Now, DH's brother is very musical...in fact, chose teaching it as a career. I wonder how he survives teaching the non-talent on a daily basis...his ears must hurt too
