Sorry to here you're sick-DH and DS are both sick too-although DH is gone all weekend for Navy training-getting ready for Iraq(just in case he has to still be deployed)

9:47 and it is probable my coworker...she loves QVC....I am usually an online shopper...I used to love ebay, but I got burned twice in a row after several years of good buying....so I haven't gone back in months. Too bad for the honest sellers since I am an honest buyer...but paypal didn't help the situation either (end of rant )

He will probably miss the deployment-that is unless a new act of congress goes thru to stop loss everyone from the Military-that would extend him about a year and that would mean he would have to go-but the odds are in our favor that that wont happen-but it still bothers me

A lot of people here are adopted either from China (mostly people part Chinese and/or Japanese) and some adopt relatives from other pacific islands where there were from. My first cousin was born in the Phillipines.

My DH has drill this weekend. he is in the naval reserve. he is a seabee.

I am lucky my DH is into computers...I don't have too much patince. We just got DSL about three months ago...I was a big bend for me, we don't even have cable We got it so that he could do some work from home (that was the excuse) but somehow I think I use it more than him

NOW that is too Funny-My DH is a Seabee
CB-25 out of Milwaukee-they just got their deployment orders though-they go in Feb-but as Lyn mentioned he gets out in April and doesn't plan on re-enlisting(so far)

And my DH is also reserve at Drill weekend too-although they made it a three day weekend at Ft.McCoy -about 3hrs from here,so he's gone til Sunday night

My dh is having weapons quilifications this weekend. his drill is usully in millington tn but not this weekend. millington is about 3 hrs away but he only has to go about 1hr 30 min away so he stayed home tonight and is getting up in about 2 hrs to head out. he is thinking about goingto the national quard when this term is up. he has been screwed over to many times....but he is having 2nd thoughts they have a new cheif. so he is thinking about staying... he wants to retire with the navy

LOL... there is a women on QVC now that is in florida... you can tell she is not from there origianlly... she has a BIG TIME southern accent.. you know one you would hear in tennessee, mississippi or alabama ( i can say this because i use to live in mississippi and i live in tennessee now.. LOL)

DH and I were both in the Army-a long time ago and he too is tired of all the messing around with the reserve-so he plans to get out for good

dh just got into the reserves about 10 yrs ago so he has about 10 yrs that he can retire.
