I just got home from my In-laws....

My In-laws are very good to DD. They are just very old fashion.

and OK i don't really mean boat anchors but myMIL is so mean
and if i could figure out away to not ever see her agian it would be okay with me but since FIL died the girls try to be see her to remember him
but she doesn't like them
plays favorites to all the boys in the family and the worst part moved my FIL's best friend in to her house (and room) 1 1/2 months after his wife died
she just frustrates me

she treats her dogs better
even refuses to keep her dogs in another room when my niece is over even though Niece is terrified of dogs
so BIL just doesn't go there any more

and after tonight i think we may not be going often either

DH had to beg her to come because DD wanted her here
MIL was going to go to a hockey game with her boyfriend or maybe just sit home
she didn't think DD should have a party because she is 10

NO I know what you meant. And it is uncalled for that you MIL is mean to your children. I can't stand when that happens.

They are Grandchild and they should have a blast with them. Spoil them and send them home.

You can VENT anytime you want. That is what we are here for.
