WHAT DECISION???? Was your interview today?trappednabox said:UGH!! I don't know!!! I have to make a decision & I don't know what to do!!
Easy for me to say and I know it is hard to do...but maybe try not to worry about it too much. Just go into the interview with a positive outlook and then see what happens.....maybe the way the interview goes will help you decide.trappednabox said:No it wasn't today, but I still have to make up my mind
I hope he feels better.kelljacques@aol.com said:well I am off again.. darren is not feeling well tonight!!!

trappednabox said:I don't know if you remember, but I posted awhile back about me having surgery. Well I talked to my Dr today & he wants me to have it. BUT I don't know what to do, I can't have it if I take a new postion b/c I will be in a probationary period for 6 months & I don't know if they will wait for me to come back. BUT if I don't take it I will feel stupid b/c I hate the job I have now & there won't be another postion for me for a VERY VERY long time

I remember you talking about it before. How long will you be out if you have the surgery? If it is more for health reasons than cosmetic, I would think you should be your health first....but, I can relate to being unhappy at worktrappednabox said:I don't know if you remember, but I posted awhile back about me having surgery. It is a hard choice
yeah, I'm not sure whatto do!! If I don't get it I want to quit, but if I quit, I won't have insurance to have the surgeryMom2Ashli said:That is alot to think about.

I don't know how it is where you work, but some places can't discriminate for health reasons. I went to an interview pregnant before and they had to interview me and didn't bring up the pregnancy directly (I was about 6 or 7 months along so it was obvious). Turns out they didn't care about the pregnancy, they really needed help and were willing to train me before the baby came.trappednabox said:I will have to be out anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. I'm wondering if I should just tell her I don't want the postion anymore, or if I should tell her what's going on, or if I should just interview for it & go from there
My DSIL just went to the doctor last month, she is only 33 and she had high blood pressure and was borderline diabetic...she has been trying to lose weight and avoid medication.trappednabox said:& yeah it is more for health reasons, I have major family history & the Dr said from my test results it looks like I may be pre-diabetic
It may be worth it to stick with the job and have the medical.Lyn5 said:I don't know how it is where you work, but some places can't discriminate for health reasons. To be safe, if you want the job, maybe you should interview at the end of the week and then let them know about the surgery when it is scheduled? Do you think they would fire you or move you back to your current job?
I want to let them know b/c I would hate for them to be mad about it b/c I was dishonest about it.Lyn5 said:My DSIL just went to the doctor last month, she is only 33 and she had high blood pressure and was borderline diabetic...she has been trying to lose weight and avoid medication. It may be worth it to stick with the job and have the medical.
