Last night on The Apprentice...

I was glad to see Stacy go..she annoyed me also. But I do think her idea of the costumes would have been a good one if thought of earlier. When the task was given, it was the first thing I thought of that was different than dog washing. Had they thought of it right off, they could have used the seed money for a couple of costumes or simple things like the mickey mouse ears they sell for dogs at Disney. Bows for ears, etc. Hats for dogs etc.

However, by the time she tried to sell the idea it was already hours into the task and the materials for the dog wash had been purchased. She didn't know how to scale it back to make it work along side the dog washing...she kept going for the expensive stuff.

As for the nail clipping..I would never let a stranger do it to my dog as he would have the same reaction those on TV did. Even when it is done right, some dogs (like mine) just hate it. He doesn't like having his paw restrained and the clippers freak him out. Even the vet and groomers need additional people to restrain him (and he is only 20lbs.)! This is something that many dogs are not comfortable with and need to have a certain level of trust in the person doing.

Amy did have some decent ideas on this task and some others, but her extremely ANNOYING personality made others ignore her. She is such a whiner. Glad to see her go.

As far as the winner, just remember that they will work for Donald on a huge project "in some capacity". That doesn't mean squat. I live close to Chicago and so we hear the past winner (Bill R.) on radio sometimes and doing other interviews. He has hectic and interesting days for sure, but he is not "managing" a project or making the really important decisions. Basically it is a year to build into a resume for his next venture.
It will be interesting to see how Andy does as project manager on the task this week. If he succeeds, I think The Donald will hold with him.
Maria has twitchy eyes and that is annoying. wish she'd wear glasses if her contacts are bothering her.

She is really full of herself!!!

She's publicizing herself for money... I don't blame her for that.

I can't IMAGINE who would hire her to SPEAK! :earseek:

I agree, that task just plain stunk. No way would I let some novices clip my pets' nails! I'm afraid to do it myself!

Stacy's has to be appalled watching the others talk about her. Her nervous talking is something I really don't believe she's seen from the outsdie before. Maybe it will be the beginning of a healing for her.

How tall (or how short) does Stacy R look to you?

She looks like less than 5-foot to me. Both of my sisters are around 4"11 and 5' and she may even be shoerter than them. Either that, or all the other women on the Apprentice are very tall because she looks much shorter than they do.
