Last Name spelled wrong in airline email conf.

I booked our air tickets for our trip to Disney this a.m. I was having trouble with the airline's web site so I called in to book it. After spelling our last name many, many times to the operator our email confirmation comes and our last name is still spelled wrong. Not a huge error, just an extra 'n'. I went to their site again and tried their live help and the 1-800 both which repeated came back busy so finally I tried their email help and this is the answer I got...

"Unfortunately, we can not change your name on your ticket. We have documented the correct spelling of the last name. It should not cause you any problems when checking in or going through security at the airport."

Has any one else every had this happen and was it a problem???? Any advice?
 
I would still try to get in touch with a person to check that it has changed. That way when you get your boarding passes it will be correct.

Take the E-mail they sent you with you to the airport either way.
 
My DH's name was spelled wrong on our last airline tickets. They also told me that the could not change it and would have no problems. I kept the email they sent me, but never needed it. I do not remember whether is was his 1st or last name that was wrong, but I was fretting over the whole thing for nothing. Nobody ever questioned it.
