Where, in your expert opinions, should we eat breakfast/brunch on our last day? I am assuming I have until about 2:00 on our last day (our flight is at 5:15 PM, so I am guessing that Magical Express will be picking us up at around 2:15...)

Would you do a character breakfast? A special meal on the Boardwalk?? The Gospel Brunch at House of Blues???

It will be just my husband and I, after spending an entire week with my brother and his family, and my son and his girlfriend. They all go home much earlier than we do. We are leaving from the Yacht Club.

PLEASE vote and add your reasons, to help me decide...

For our upcoming trip in a few weeks I already have a ADR for Chef Mikey's. We are departing WDW on a Saturday morning and driving to the Philadelphia area. I wanted the family well tanked up for the ride so as to reduce the number of stops. Chef Mickey should do it. Their selection of foods have always been good. Enough choices to satisfy the really picky eaters (like my kids!).

It will be interesting to see where this poll goes.

I voted "other". I think if you still have a day left on your park tickets and can get an early ADR at Crystal Palace, it would be much more enjoyable. If you can get ADRs befor rope drop, its really cool to walk down mainstreet with almost no one else and be able to see and take pictures of the castle with no one else in the picture. Plus I think Crystal Palace breakfast is the best I have had so far!

Spoodles has a very good breakfast and I think it would be a nice quiet place to end your trip with just the two of you. I'm betting at that point, that's what you will need.

Cape May is my favorite character breakfast - since you're at the YC that would be my choice.

I love FRESH for breakfast for adults. It would be a nice relaxing morning for you to get packed up, have a terrific breakfast and maybe a walk around the Lake before you have to be ready for ME.

Ok I picked Cape May, because we really like but Have you thought about Kona? Visiting Poly is a great way to end a trip & of course a quick spin on the Monorail.

I am curious about the House of Blues Gospel Brunch. No one has voted for it, so I was wondering if the food is the reason, or if it is just because people are looking for that last Disney fix...

I was kinda thinking that the Gospel Brunch might be good, because then I could do some Downtown Disney shopping, and then get some sandwiches to go for the plane trip home...

I will place another vote for The Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom. We had an 8:25 AM ADR this past Saturday and it was great going into the park with no one there. The food was WONDERFUL (the breakfast lasagna was my favorite :)) and it has characters too. And when you are done, you are already in the park and ahead of the crowds. We were done by 9:15 and went straight to our favorite rides with little to no waits.

Have a great time :sunny:

I voted other Character Breakfast. For me, we are choosing O'Hana Breakfast. Here's why. We are in similar situation with family leaving earlier on departure morning. I am the planner for a family Christmas trip...12 of us...grandma, grandpa, 3 kids/spouses and all of our kids. Everyone is leaving early on our last day except my family...me, DH, DS8, and DS5. We have a 10:15 breakfast booked at O'Hana. Figured we could sleep in, and have a leisurely breakfast in some peace. We've done O'Hana before and enjoyed it. Food is good...and my favorite part as compared to many of the other breakfasts...they bring it to me. I don't have to budge myself off my seat. ;) I figure after a busy week and doing the buffets other times, it will be nice to take a long exhale over breakfast. Also, it's a nice final view of the castle. I just love that!

Where are you staying, Dopey's Girl? Your situation IS very similar to ours!

1900 Park Fare is one of my favorites. Good food, great characters... very nice.

if you can get res. cinderella's royal table character breakfast is a perfect remembrance. it is beautiful and the food is great. princess: pixiedust:

my favorite breakfast is at boma at the animal kingdom. it is the finest breakfast buffet i have ever had. there are foods that don't totally qualify as breakfast, so it would really be considered brunch. be sure you have time to tour the resort and see the animal out back. this one is spectacular. :thumbsup2
