Last Minute vacation deals?

So, i have heard of folks who are willing/able to go places at the last minute and they get incredible deals.

i am normally a huge planner but was thinking i might be willing to throw caution to the wind and do something last minute at the end of aug. Anyone know of sites you can find these last minute deals?

the thing is that we aren't overly picky. i was playing with lots of different trips online and they were not overly last minute (i was playing around with aug dates) and weren't super deals.
