Last Minute Trip

I am having cabin fever so bad that I need to get a way. I see where Disney has there Mar. 16-20 (4 day-cruise) for the same price of our Dec. trip. The only catch is we won't get assigned rooms until we get there and have to eat at the 8:30PM rotation as the early times are all filled up. I was wondering if it would be hard to get it changed once we get there as there are only two of us. My husband isn't suppose to eat after 6PM so the early dinner time is late also (but he can get by, we won't let the late time keep us from going). My big concern is do you think we would get a really bad room. I've never been on any cruise before so I don't know what the rooms are like. I want to book with Disney after lunch. Any helpful hints or advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

Cabin fever? I know the feeling! I label mine "DCL Withdrawals".

You did not mention your stateroom category. If you are Cat. 11 GTY, you <I>might</I> end up being upgraded to a Cat. 9, which would put you down on Deck 2 or 1. Whether you would like it or not depends on your preferences. March is usually cheaper than December, so you are likely being penalized somewhat for the late booking by rescheduling.

I would say the biggest concern should be the dining time. It is <I>almost</I> (but not entirely) impossible to switch to main dining from late. There is usually a long waitlist. If there is a medical reason, you should submit a medical form with doctor's note to DCL regarding the requirement for earlier dining. That <I>might</I> help. Good luck!

Hey Gail; I found two 3/16ers in one day! It's been slow to get responses from people, thought we'd be getting on an empty ship!

It's just DH and myself also, but we wanted the late seating! Hope your request works out - Let us know if your booked and what category you ended up with!
