Hello! We're trying to throw together a last minute trip and I need a little advice. I've gotten quotes for a 2 bedroom at Bonnet Creek and a 3 bedroom with private pool at Windsor Hills. If you could pick, which would you choose? This will be our first time off-site and I'm just not sure which is better. Thanks so much!!!

We went as a family for the first time last fall and stayed offsite! We stayed at Windsor Hills in a nice townhome and we enjoyed our stay. We were also thinking of Bonnet Creek at the time but didn't go with it because I was worried about the whole "timeshare" thing and my husband fell in love with having our own pool. Also, we had a third adult with us so it was really nice..My sister got the downstairs bed and bath to herself! Also...you don't have to worry about parking at Windsor Hills because you park right outside your door! A huge plus when you have all kinds of things you need to lug around! :) We are planning a trip to go back and I have quotes for both...and I'm thinking of trying Bonnet Creek because I missed the "resort/hotel" feeling and it is considered "within the gates of disney" so as long as you don't have to leave to do grocery shopping/out to eat...I think the Disney vibe stays with you a little longer!

Looking at your profile and your son is 2?....Maybe do Bonnet Creek...you then don't have to worry about having a set of stairs...I know the place we rented from did have baby gates and locks on the doors...and then everything you would need would be on one floor! :)

I think either way you really can't go wrong! Also....depending on how "last minute" the trip is..I know the people that we rented from before just posted a last minute opening in the beginning of February!

Depends on the vibe you want. Windsor Hills is like staying at your well-to-do uncle's house, located in a really nice community, that just happens to be minutes from WDW. Very quiet, very private, very nice.

Bonnet Creek is more of a "resort experience". A little more active, a little more going on in terms of shared amenities, a little less private, but also very nice.

We find we prefer a bit more action now that my kids are a little older. When they were younger, we liked a more quiet pace.

We like Windsor Hills Resort. We have stayed in the condos and enjoyed all the amenities, pool, theater, game room, etc and close to parks.

We stayed in a townhome in WH last May. It was great having the private pool and the extra space. DS was and still is in a crib, so having that extra 3rd bedroom to out his crib was perfect. It wasn't much of a drive to the parks. I want to say it was like 8 minutes (yes I timed it one day out of curiousity!)

I checked out BC for this upcoming trip, but it was like double the cost for a 3 bed there as it is for WH. I know the 2 beds are much cheaper but I really don't want DS' crib in our room!
