Really? When I went in, it was completely silent except for the second story band :confused3

That's extremely unusual. You'll see kids dancing in the middle of the lobby to the band music, they even have a little seating area with kid-sized sofas and chairs and a TV playing Disney cartoons. Kids running through the lobby in bathing suits. Really, it's very family-friendly.

There is still availabililty at all of those? Club level? wow..that's surprises me!

I say..WL

Living qurters may not be so nice. but don't feel to bad for him he is off to Hawaii. I guess if I could be stationed anywhere I would pick there!!!

Now that is a place to be station at :goodvibes Hubby was stationed there in the Navy but during Viet Nam. Tell him to tour Pearl Harbor & Punch Bowl. Have him to a real Laui:thumbsup2

Surprisingly most still have CL available. YC< BC BWI. Poly doesn't which would have been my #1 choice. That is why I am finding it hard to choose. I love the Poly as do my kids. But I also love the snacks and the ADR help CL provides. Plus we have never WL. Oh the choices. This is what happens when you don't book early!!!!!

You may want to decide quicky before they all sell out! The Epcot resorts are so nice due to location! With small ones WL is always great cause its so close to MK! It's a tough choice! Hurry though!

I picked the Poly for the room size and the savings. Are you all staying in one room? If so, WL room would be very tight for that many people.

WL would be my second choice. I think the GF for three little boys and a big boy going away isn't as good theme wise. Its a lovely resort but to me, that resort would be great if you had three little girls and a niece you were wanting to treat. Just my thought.

Have you called to see whats available for ADR's? You may be surprised. We were there in June during a very busy time and made lots of changes and additions to our ADR's, often last minute. The biggies like Chef Mickey's, O'Hana and Le Cellier are one thing, but there's lots of places that have last minute availablity still. Not walk ups but you are still one month out. Maybe make some calls and see what is available. Then you can go with the Poly, know you'll eat, be at a resort on the monorail with large rooms and save some money!

IMO GF is child friendly. I ahve no clue why everyone says it's not. they have character meals there and many kids activities like Wonderland tea Party. I would feel comfortable brining my kids there if I could manage the price. I think Club level would be great too. I also love WL and Poly and have stayed at both two times. With the 3 little ones I think being on the monorail might be a blessing. I say GF CLub level 1st choice and Poly GV second choice. Though all 3 resorts are great!!

OK, of the 3 I picked the Poly. With that said, if you want Club Level, I would pick the BWI OVER the Poly Club Level any day. Just a thought. You can walk/take the boat to two resorts and have tons more dining options available. Or have you looked at a two bedroom villa with the late summer discount code? We got a Wilderness Lodge Villa for the 14th-19th of August with the code today.

I pick Poly because of the room size, proximity to MK where you will be spending most of your time and being on the rails.

Good restaurants to choose from, close to park so you can go back and give kids naps if you choose to in middle of day, and nice pool as well

Hey guys thanks to you all. We did end up at the Poly. To the OP who picked BWI for club level. My DH and I love the BWI when we go by ourselves but with the kids I dread the late nights of walking to the car from the TTC out of MK. The monorail is way to easy on those nights.

I picked Poly because I think the monorail is good for your group, and I don't think it's worth $1500 difference to do CL at Grand Floridian. WL I didn't consider, because I was leaning toward the monorail resorts.

We will actually be there while you are also. We are travelling August 14-19th. We have been there before during this time period and it is HOT!!! Expect typical Florida thunderstorms and oppressive heat. My parents keep our four :scared1: kids for two weeks in August, that happens to fall over our anniversary, so sometimes we head to Disney to celebrate.
This trip we are staying at the WL, when we travel with the kids we stay at the Poly or the BWI, but wanted to try something different this trip.

Our anniversary is the 25th! And we spent our honeymoon in Disney and I don't remember the heat at all. But that may be because I was pushing around a 50lb stoller with 2 kids in too. I think our plan is to take it easy. We know what we like to do and will only do those things. Not try and do everything. Just the favorites. My kids are so little they love pool days so I am sure we will have pool time everyday. How are the crowds though? We are used to smaller crowds.

I don't rememeber crowds being tooooo awful. We follow Tour Guide Mike's advice, of course modified to fit what we want to do, and we have never had any trouble. We went three years ago, though, and it was so hot, one day we headed for Epcot in the afternoon from the BWI and got as far as the ESPN Zone before we stopped, it was so hot!
