Do prices on Last Minute Travel go up and down frequently? Because yesterday a 5 day park hopper was $158 and now its $190.

That's quite the jump for one day.

Now I am kicking myself for not getting tickets yesterday, but how is someone supposed to know that prices are going to jump that much??

I'm not surprised. When I called about ours a few months ago, I asked if I should just wait, since the vouchers don't come until right before the trip, and the girl told me not to wait, because the prices can (ans sometimes do) change rapidly, especially with peak season approaching.

I would presume the jump you see is due to summer, and the fact that LMT.com was new to DL, and trying to get a niche in the market, which now seems to be happening.

5 day parkhoppers are normally $249, so it's still a savings, but if I were you, I'd go with DL's site, which has a special right now for 5 days for 3 at $184 per ticket.

This just happened to me too.

I priced yesterday for our trip the day after Memorial Day. Our tickets would have been $545 for 4-3 day park hoppers. I couldn't buy them yesterday because today is payday and I needed to transfer money. So I just went to buy them now and it is $655.

eta: I can buy 5 for 3 from Disney for $10 more....but I don't need 5 days. We're only there for 3.

I know how you're feeling. I am tempted to wait and see if they go down again. maybe wait until August to order, since I am not going until October, but what if they go up again?

Then you go with the best source. I was wondering if the LMT tickets were going to jump as it approches summer.

flightcenter.ca has 5 day park hoppers for $204 CND right now and 7 days for $214. I'm not sure when they have to be used by though as you have to call now. We used them last year with no trouble.

What a bummer! I was waiting for this week to purchase because we just put $1,000 on the credit card for car repairs and I wanted to spread the bills out. I swear I was going to buy them today and it went up.!!!

Their prices aren't even very good now. At AAA you get the 3 for 5 days plus free parking and other extras for $184.

AAARRRGGGGHHHHH!!!! I was going to buy these tix next week! I have to buy TEN 5 day PH's (treating in-laws and 2 nieces to Disney vacation), and the LMT prices were going to save me around $200!

Since I need my tickets next week I just purchased from the Disney site. I went ahead with the 5 for 3 deal. Not sure we'll use 5 days. Our first night our flight comes in at 4pm I think. I don't know what time the park closes but I guess if my kids are dying to see something perhaps we can wander over since we have a ticket to spare.

You have to be a member and register to access the ticket area. At the bottom of the 1st page there is an area for Disney Vacations. Click it and it takes you to a Disney page. The top right has an area where you can purchase tickets. Click the promo tickets so you can get the 5 for 3. It's the same price as the Disneyland site, but you get free parking and a few other "freebies"
