I'll be in Orlando with my son and a few of his friends in late September. We will not be staying on Disney property. His friends have never been to Disney due to money situations. I think I'm going to be able to save up enough the next few months to take them all for one day. I doubt I fill any of them in on the plan until we get there just in case I don't have the money I plan on and in case their parents think that it's not a good idea for me to spend it on their kids. So what are the best options for buying a one day ticket the day before or the day of going to Disney? I'd prefer not to but them at MK because we'd be wasting time standing in line to buy.

Disney typically does not give authorized resellers discounts on 1 & 2 day MYW tickets. Most resellers that have 1 & 2 day tickets sell them for more than what you would pay Disney directly.

You can purchase them on-line at disneyworld.com/tickets. If you select standard delivery, they will mail you the actual tickets.

In the past I have purchased a one day ticket for Magic Kingdom at Guest Services at the Disney Market Place for use on the following day
