Last minute room key question

We have a My Way package with meals and park admission so I assume everything will be on the room key card. So if I want to send one of my kids ahead to get fastpasses, do we have to wait for his return before we can order food?

You will need at least one room ID to order your meals on the dining plan. The dining credits are pooled on the card for the entire party.

All of your KTTK will be programed with the allotment for your DDP. You can have one person order for everyone and the credits will come off of your total. You don't have to have everyone's KTTK to feed the family, only one.

Keep in mind that if you send one kid off to get FP's, and keep 1 KTTW card to order food, you'll be short 1 FP.

Exactly what I was thinking…Order your food, pay with a KTTW card, then send someone off to get a FP for everyone. If the ride is fairly close to the eatery your at, by the time you get your food and/or condiments they should be back with the FPs.
