Last minute resort reservation?

We leave Friday and have reservations for All Star Music - 6 nights. We would like to upgrade to a mod resort, but of course all are booked. I know, very last minute. Anyway, anyone have suggestions on what time to call to try to change? I can't even check online because it's less than 3 days out . I thought there might be a specific time they 'release' rooms for booking. I tried early this morning, lunch time, and I'll try again tonight. Surely, they leave some rooms for last minute goobers like us . Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't know, but I would guess if any open up, it would be 5 days before your trip since this is when you can cancel without penalty. Good luck!

Call first thing in the morning, 7am, apparently cancellations get processed overnight.

Since I booked through WDW, I have to go through them. The system is "currently down for system enhancements." I'll try back later then in the morning. (((Sigh)))

I just check Disney's website and put the dates in for 6/8 to 6/13 and was able to get CSR only. POR and CBR said they were not available. I just did room only, not a package.

Also, maybe when you check in you can see if you could upgrade to a moderate. I know some people who are not happy with their resort do change during their vacations.

we also planned an impromptu this past Tuesday... and yesterday I manage to snag $154/nite at SSR checking the 9th and checking out the 13th with AP holder discount... everything was booked solid all they told me that was available was GF and WL cabins

I just called at 7am. No luck! We're actually checking out the 14th. I guess that extra night makes the difference. We do have a room at ASMu so we still get to go to Disney World. Yay!!! Thank you for your help and suggestions.
