Last Minute reservations

Because we don't know if it will be 3 or 4 of us going for the 1st week of March, we are driving down to WDW. We won't know how many of us will be there until the day we leave. We want to stay on site (POFQ), but if we book last minute, will there be availability? Will the prices be the same (or better, or worse)?

I would book in advance for the lower number of guests. Adding a 4th person would not be a problem in any style room - only if you wanted 5 people. We did this in the past--they just added the extra adult charge to our total and we paid that at the hotel.

I agree book in advance for 3 people and add the 4th on arrival. Booking last minute will decrease your options for sure.

POFQ tends to be the moderate resort that fills its reservations the quickest, partially because it is smaller than other moderates. For that reason, it pays to reserve POFQ as early as possible. The previous poster is right: just reserve for 3 at first, and a 4th can be added with no problems later. Just pay the extra adult charge.

If you were wanting any other moderate, you could possibly get away with reserving later, but I wouldn't risk it with POFQ.

Yes....POFQ only has approx 1000 rooms. They do book up quickly and if there are any discounts to be had they will be gone first.
