last minute reservation availability - question

ok- so i have an offer in on 130 ss points. the broker says it will take 7 weeks (roughly) to get it all done if the seller accepts.

we have a reservation through wdw (caribbean beach) for labor day weekend..... thursday to monday

what are my chances of getting a th-mon DVC studio (dont care where it is) for labor day once we close on the points and get registered as a member? its just me and my 4 year old. He wont care where we stay as long as there a pool and we are at WDW lol

this is all assuming we get the transaction done in time...

How available is DVC generally for last minute travel?

For Labor Day weekend, you may find success for a Studio since that is not usually a hogh-demand time. At other times of the year that short notice may be a challenge for a reservation.
