Hello. I'll be at DW in five days :yay: and I've been looking at the menus for the restaurants I've made ADRs for. I noticed that a lot of the entrees I want come with mashed potatoes as a side (Mom's Old Fashioned Pot Roast at 50's Prime Time, Grilled New York Strip Steak at Coral Reef, and the Strip Steak at Grand Floridian Cafe). Has anyone ever been able to substitute their sides at these restaurants? I'll be using the DDP if that makes a difference.

And another random question, I'm eating at Tokyo Dining because everyone in my family absolutely loves sushi (except me). I saw they have teriyaki chicken as a kid's menu item, but can you order this as an adult entree? Otherwise, I'll be eating a third NY strip steak :confused3 Thanks!

Don't know about the specific restaurants mentioned, but I've had substitutions accommodated before. Doesn't hurt to ask. :)

even if you are in the dining plan, you can still order off of the kid's menu (it'll be the same credit)- but always talk to your server, usually they can come up with some adult size portion of a dish ( i'm a very picky eater, so i tend to do this often)

Tokyo Dining has teriyaki chicken on the menu but I believe it's listed under Japanese-style Grill or something like that.:) They also have a beef and I think salmon, but don't quote me on that. I'm sure your server will be happy to help you find something you'll enjoy.

Also.. I've made substitutions when it comes to side items severals times without any sort of problems. It never hurts to ask! Good luck to you.:)
