Well, I was. I was on the Magic in November and the cast member at Guest Services had me go and get the original printout before he would give me the new one.

Do we settle our account with GS the night or day before leaving or the morning of departure? I imagine GS will be very busy with hundreds of people settling their accounts?

If you attached a credit card to your account, you should be good to go.

Your charge folio will be on the TV - you can check it throughout the cruise.

There are three reasons to go to GS at the end of your cruise :

- To settle your account if you chose to use cash instead of a credit card.
- If there is a problem with your credit card when DCL tries to use it to settle your account.
- If there is an error concerning a charge on your account.

The vast majority of passengers will never encounter one of these issues since most use a CC. Therefore, if there is always a line on the last night and the last morning of the cruise at GS, it is not very long.

If you keep an eye on the charges in your account, you can manage any problem during the cruise instead of waiting at the end.
