Last Minute Question for early CRT transportation...

Extremely last minute (bad I know) question about the best way to get to Magic Kingdom THIS SATURDAY for our breakfast CRT reservation @ 8:00. We are staying @ the Dolphin and will also have a rental car. I've read conflicting suggestions on the best way to get their early and through the gates/down mainstreet. We will be traveling with our 2 kids and my parents are going to join us so I'd like to make sure we're all there as early as possible so we can enjoy the walk down mainstreet.

It's been years since we've visited, and our kid's 1st visit. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Easiest way?? Bus from S/D to MK. The buses start running at 6:30am. Be out at the bus stop no later than 7.
If you drive your car, you will have to go to the TTC, take the tram, then hop on the monorail. Takes time to do it that way.

THANKS! I read several places that the busses only run 1hr befor park openinging but after reading several tips on here it seems that that may not be the case. We will opt for the bus first thing in the a.m.

If you have little ones try to be at the castle first. We didn't know they did this before and on our last trip we happened to be the first family at the gates that morning. When they let us in for the CRTb we walked all the way to the castle and found out that they award "Prince (or princess) of the day" to the first boy or girl to arrive at the castle for the day. It was really neat! My son got to be Prince of the Day. That's a picture of him holding the sword they give the boys in my signature. They give the girls a wand. They also stand you on the steps going up to the restaurant and make a big announcement about it. lol He could have died from embarrassment.

Yup...buses start running at 6:30 from the resorts to the parks. BUT..they don't run as frequently as the regular park buses do...so plan accordingly. They run about every 25 mins or so...the regular buses run every 15/20 mins or so.
