"Last Minute" Plan Critiques?

Does anyone have any suggestions on my planned itinerary? I am looking for any glaring holes I am missing, or other suggestions you might have.

One specific question I do have is about Soarin'/FEA/Test Track. I currently don't have Test Track on the schedule, and am hoping to hit it when the wait is low, or as a 4th fastpass. Is this the wisest decision, or should I switch Soarin' or FEA for it?

Also, there are separate tabs at the bottom the sheet for the overview, and for each day. TIA!

Not sure of your party make up, but you can use single rider for Test Track.

On the 28th, you have FP#1 at 10 AM and FP #2 at 6pm. That seems like a huge waste to me. You are in Magic Kingdom that day. The shear number of attractions at MK, make the probability of FP#4,5, 6 and beyond a great, but not if you aren't done with your initial 3 FP until almost 8pm. For what its worth, your POTC FP at 7pm....I have booked POTC as FP #5 or greater on more than one occasion, usually around 7 or 8 pm.

You might want to consider using FP for Jungle Cruise as the line is slow and not air conditioned.

On 9/2 you held all you FP for evening at AK. From most reports, evening at AK has had low crowds. You may want to look at the MDE APP tonight to get an idea of the wait times.

That day you want to ride Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh and Space Mountain. I think those rides would be a better use of FP. When you are done with those, hop on the App and see what;s available at AK for FP #4.

I joined Touring Plans and I find their Lines app a great source of info. I look at it every day to see what is available at parks after certain times. I see your AK day you are jumping to Epcot. Since your fps are early, you can pick up a fp for Epcot. Expedition Everest is also a single rider ride, so you can drop the fp and pick up 2 additional fps for Epcot after you band tap your 9:20 safari fp. You don't need one for Lion King either. Check out the Everything Fastpass board. Lots of great info! My AK day I only have 1 fp and my 2nd Epcot day I only have 1 and I may drop that if I walk on Soarin. I have an fp for FEA and after that I may either go for TT or Illuminations though I do plan to watch it from Monsieur Paul.

Just as an FYI I just glanced at Lines and it's showing fast passes for Toy Story, Fantasmic, Star Tours and RnR still available.

First - wow you are an amazing planner! I am super jealous of this awesome planning! I see a few things that I might adjust, but nothing major. I am a little concerned overall on your arrive at bus stop and arrive at park times. On 8.28 I think you will get everything done in your 10:15 block well before lunch time, so I see some significant down time there. I think you may have luck getting on POTC around that time with a possible ok wait. This can free up your FP to get Jungle Cruise as someone else suggested. Your plan on 8/30 looks good - my only suggestion is that you can ride EE when you get there first thing (and then keep your FP and ride it again! then you can get two rides on it) The wait that early in the morning is usually short. My biggest suggestions is for 9/1 and it depends on your family makeup. I would just take a cab or uber from your resort to the Poly. You'll save loads of time. If not, I might give myself more time to get to Kona. You may have some lines to wait in on 9/2. I know someone suggested changing your FPs from AK at night, but ultimately that is up to you. Buzz and Space Mountain may have longer lines but everything else should be easy to get in.

Thats all I've got - have fun!

I beg to differ here. Space Mountain, Buzz, Peter Pan and Pooh are all likely to have longer lines during the day than the Ak rides at night. These are the current wait times

I would book Fp #4 for Kali. It didn't fit in the screen shot, but currently has a 30 minute wait

Oh I wasn't disagreeing - I was saying that if she kept her plans for AK at night she'd be waiting in lines at MK for those rides during the day. It looked like she was going to hit PP at RD if I remember her sheet and then Winnie the Pooh after that, so I figured she'd be ok there. I totally agree that Space and Buzz will have lines and I was trying to say that. I dont know what the Jungle Book FP availability is like, but my thought was that if that was most important to her that she wouldn't want to switch her FPs since she would have to give that one up.

These are great comments guys! Please keep them coming. I will take your recommendations to heart. I am going to look at changing the nighttime AK fastpasses to morning MK fastpasses.

I have changed the 9/2 Animal Kingdom Fastpasses to Magic Kingdom. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Don't forget, once you are done with you MK FP you can hop on the App and book a FP for that night at AK

For TT I would rope drop Epcot and hit TT first and then use your FP+ for SOARIN.

For MK I would move the FP for Splash and pirates up. Once you have used your three you can try for more. If you place them out that late you do not have the option...

I would skip pepper market and eat at the park you are in that day... This saves a trip back to the hotel.

Pepper Market is a fine place to eat. However the hike in from your hotel room can be very long. In addition it is best to stay in the parks...

Are you not able to book a 3rd fastpass for that first evening at HS? (I'm guessing you have time conflicts or something and that's why you only have 2 booked). I would echo what others have said about not splitting up 3 pre-booked FP+ over a morning and evening. I would either use all 3 mid-morning/early afternoon and then book a 4th for when you return to the parks in the evening, or I would just save all 3 for major headliners in the evening if there's a morning you think you could get by without them.

Looks like an awesome trip, have fun!

We are going to be taking a break at the room/pool everyday anyway. I assume you are talking about 8/29. I was thinking about Backlot Express that evening for dinner, but everything we are doing is on Sunset Bvld that night. Is there a quick service on that end of the park that you would recommend instead of doing Pepper Market before we head back to HS?

I would choose Fairfax Fair.

The other option is 50's Prime Time Diner near the entrance to DHS. An upgrade to TS but a nice choice.

The other option is Epcot as the parks are so close...

The pool is really fun. If you have not called already I would ask for one of the following:

1) A room very close to Pepper Market and also to the buses.
2) Perhaps even better. A room very near the pool and also very near the buses.
3) A room near the buses.

I am likely exaggerating. I believe some of the rooms are one mile from Pepper Market.
