Last minute panic question!

Checking into BCV tomorrow with my sister and her family. I have both my name and her name on the reservation. Can we each put our own credit card down for charging incidentals, souvenirs, etc. while at WDW? I just don't want to have to wind up with a printout and deciding who owes what on the bill.

If you have just the one reservation for one room, then no, you can't give them two different credit cards. We always have a two bdrm for us and the in-laws, and run into the same situation. We've always been told, we can use only one credit card.

We'll be in a 2 BR also. That is so frustrating! I travel alot on business and (unfortunately) have to have a roomate. There is never any problem with separating our accounts.

I am not sure, but I read something, somewhere.... With the new system of taking each persons name and each persons name being on the card, that the itemized bill will show who made each charge. I haven't been there since the "each name on the card" has started, so I can give a positive comment if that is how it is working now. Maybe someone else can.

Each Key to the World is numbered. So when you use that KTTW for charging purposes, the number of the card is tagged to that purchase. When you get the bill (or, preferrably, the night before, so they don't put all the charges on the credit card that is being used for the stay), go through the list and separate them by the card number. Then ask to pay for all the #3 card (for example) using a credit card or cash that you offer them at that time. Don't wait until you check out.

But the other family could just use their credit card in the parks. That's what my BIL and SIL did when their family went with our family in January and stayed with us in our 2 bedroom.

Each key has its own number. The night before, each extra person to pay their bill can go to the HH give the names of the people they are paying for and then put those charges on their card, cash, etc. The leftover charges should only be for the main account and will go on the card that was given at check in.

If you don't want to go through separating the bill, just have your sister charge her purchases directly to her card instead of the room key.

Thanks everyone! For the life of me, I thought I had read a while back that there was a way to do it. The reason my DS and I had decided to do it this way, was so we wouldn't have to be carrying credit cards in addition to our KTTW. One less thing to lose as you're rummaging through all your stuff. Should work out just fine. Sitting here counting the hours til it's time to go!

Wow, I think I like the idea of this new system.. I didn't understand all the reasons of giving everyone's names, but I like the itemized bill thing. That is really going to work out well for us and the in-laws.
