DISigners that have the time do read the requests. If they have seen the request elsewhere they move on.....if they know another DISigner is already working on it or it is something they don't do, they move on. Doesn't mean we haven't read it....we just do not have anything to contribute at the time.
Start one thread. If a few days go by without response (and you were specific enough with your requests, due dates etc.) than you can put a post on that same thread that simply says "BUMP".
But don't be like some DISers that bump too quickly. People volunteer to DISign and responses will not be instantaneous. I have seen bumps after merely a half hour!
The best thing to do is know which DISigners specialize in what. The Meet the DISigners sticky will help with this. Also read the titles of the threads on the first few pages....if the post count is high than the DISigner has filled lots of requests of that nature.
A request to a specific DISigner will not leave you wondering if they spotted your thread. But if you ask a specific DISigner for something, please do not include that same request on a separate thread.
We welcome the newbies and know there is a learning curve.
