Last minute cruise discounts?

I know that there are discounts to be had if you are able to cruise last-minute on most cruise lines, but does Disney offer that as well? For instance, if you show up at Port Canaveral on a Saturday before 4:00 without a reservation, can you get on that cruise (assuming availability - think non-peak time like hurricane season)? And if so, does Disney offer discounts like the other major cruise lines?

I don't think you can purchase a cruise less than 3 days prior to sailing due to security reasons.

Once we called up Disney and asked if they had any last minute specials, and told them we were flexible on cruise dates - 12 days later we were on the Eastern cruise
I can't remember exactly how much cheaper it was, but at the time I thought we had a great deal. We went during the first week of February.

Hmmm...I know vacationstogo.com has last minute deals but I wasn't sure if they had any discounts that were better than the early booking discount. To be honest, I totally wasn't even thinking about the security issue!
