Hubby just came home and said we could go to disneyland on the 24th dec until the 30th dec. A huge surprise as we were planning to leave for disney world on the 3oth. He has to go to LA for work so said we should all go early and the kids and I will go to disneyland while he works. We have stayed at HoJo's and loved it, but its booked out. Can't afford the disney resort hotels. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Is there anything else I should book (apologies I am totally unprepared for a disneyland christmas trip). :)

thanks goldie 5, but the candy cane is booked out.

I have found accommodation ant the Fairfield inn and del sol inn and castle inn suites. Now to decide

I've heard mostly good things about the Del Sol. The only problem that I've read is the walls being really thin so you can hear noises around you more easily. Other than that, everything is fine. My boyfriend and I are staying there for our trip in May.

Sometimes the Anaheim hilton and towers has rooms for $89.00 It is a beautiful hotel too.

We're staying at the Hilton Anaheim at a rate of $95/night. We've only stayed at HOJO when we've been there before so we're looking forward to trying another hotel!

Another vote for Fairfield, we are staying at the Camalot Inn for the first time. If you haven't already seen it, check out the christmas thread. There is a Holiday tour, they take you on Haunted Mansion Holiday, IASW Holiday and you get prefered seating for the parade with hot cocoa and a cookie.

One of my friends booked the Doubletree Orange for $58 a night through priceline earlier today for December 19th - 23rd. She stayed there 4 times this summer and said it's a fantastic hotel!

Try the Anaheim Plaza, if you don't mind staying farther away (drive and park distance) there's a nice Day's Inn on Ball and there's a decent enough Ramada down Harbor across the I5. We have stayed at all these hotels for about $60 a night.

Thanks for all the advice. Just before I booked I thought I would check HoJo's again and found availability for the first 4 nights. I will probably book del sol inn for the last 2 nights.

We are staying at the Hilton 12/14-12/21 for $50/night but it's a pkg combo through Costco .. well worth it ..

6 Days park hoppers
Hilton
Early park entry
Toon Town early days
Preferred seating to anything that has it, incl World of Color
Character breakfast
$20 gift card

Family of 4, $1000

That's great!!! Enjoy the park at Christmastime!! :)

Oh you have no idea how giddy I am! lol

Doing shirts .. bought dresses for the baby of a princess, one for each day .. trying to think of what to make my 17 yr old for fun .. other than the matching shirt that she wanted ..

You know on the movie Elf where someone says, "Santa is coming" and he SCREAMS, " SANTAAA, I KNOW HIM" .. that's how excited I feel! lol

I love that part of Elf. :) And I would feel about the same way if I was able to go to DLR this year too, heck I'm hoping for NEXT year and I'll feel that way. LOL

I hear that!

I have always wanted to going during a holiday, esp Christmas, next holiday I wanna go to is Halloween! I would like to go to Disney World .. just cause I haven't gone .. but I can go to Disney what it would cost in air fare .. but someday I'm sure I'll get there ..
