Last minute choices

OK-Ya'll have me freaked out that I won't be able to eat anywhere but counter service if I don't make ADR's. We were going to wait and call when we saw what we were doing each day when we got there. Last year we would call in the afternoon and were able to get ADR's for that night at some places, so I wasn't too worried about it.

So, the question is. Lunch at MGM. Not too impressed with the reviews at MGM. Would it be worth it to take the boat to Epcot/Boardwalk etc and have lunch there or would it take too much time?

Does anyone know when lunch ends and dinner starts? We want to get to MGM late one evening and thought we could do a "late lunch" at one of the resorts.

First let me say that the 50's Prime Time at the Disney Studios has great food with large portions and a great atmosphere.

You can walk or boat over to the Boardwalk area from the Studios. The walk is about 10-15 minutes. If you just miss a boat the walk is much faster.
Go over to allearsnet.com.....dining....menus for the Epcot resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin). Not everyplace in this area serves lunch but some do.
ps....Don't bother with Big River Grille on the Boardwalk. Overpriced and in need of some updating. Much better choices in this area.

We love 50's Prime Time Cafe as well. If you are looking to not make ADR's, you may wind up eating at some odd times. Some people enjoy this and with all the time changes it may work out better for them. From what I have seen, you have a better chance of not being turned away if you eat at the resort restaurants rather than the ones in the park as well.
