:crazy2: A little vent. I recently switched my trip from OOP to the free dining package, we arrive August 23rd. With the OOP trip I had two character breakfasts and two sit down dinners that I booked right at my 180day mark so we got what we wanted and times that worked.

Of course my switch occurred yesterday and since than I've been trying to rearrange things to add two new dinners, swap one of the character breakfasts for a dinner, and a swap to places we normally would not have been able to afford. I thought I did okay since our top choices were already booked.

I have an 11year old DD, and two boys aged 5 and 3. I have been tying to keep DD involved in planning and focus some things on her so the whole trip is not oriented just for the boys. She is at that tween attitude and not really a 'girly girl'. She has continuously said she doesn't care if she meets princesses. Well last night we were showing kids photos of the CARS suites which is where we switched rooms to, and of course I hear "Geeze mom why am I even going, its all boy stuff".

So this morning I jumped onto the computer and had to make more changes. We have 1.5days at Epcot, our 2nd (and full) day we are going to be stuffed. I have us booked at noon for lunch at Akershus Royal Banquet hall than dinner at Coral Reef restaurant (5:30pm). DD will at least get some princess/girl time in.

Can I add a question to my vent? How far from Futureland is Akershus? I mapped out our days so that our half day was through World Showcase and the full day the rest of Epcot. Now we'll have to back track into World Showcase for lunch so I will need to rearrange my Fastpass+ as well that day.

Norway is the second country on the right if you are standing on the walkway facing the water. Not too far into the world showcase. But you are right lots of food...how about a breakfast instead? Then the dinner...skip the lunch:)

I'm hoping, right now the only breakfast spot is 8am and I know my family won't be moving yet to get there that early. I'm going to check whenever I get the chance between now and than and if something comes up 9am or later for breakfast I will grab it.

I would snag the 8 and then check or show up late. Way too food to do two TS in four hours, cause lunch will take 90 minutes. or push back dinner a couple of hours. Call the dining number and see what the options are. She may also like 1900 park fare dinner with Cindy and the step sisters as another girly option. I would assume the characters are 4 all kids, so don't worry about 'pleasing' her just cause you r staying in cars section. That pool area is really neat! We let each of the kids and adults (10) pick one restaurant on our family trip. Worked well.

Unless someone really, REALLY, wants to eat surrounded by an aquarium, I'd cut Coral Reef.
