Ok, so it's not as big a change as it sounds as we were due to fly in 19 days anyway, but it makes all the difference to us!

Our original trip was all based around the launch of STS-134 fro KSC, which is probably going to be the last ever shuttle launch, but due to the fuel tank foam thing it got put back until it was out of our holiday window.

We tried to book another vacation for the launch, but going to the boss and saying can we have another 2 weeks off in April didn't go down well and the previous shuttle launched the day before we landed, so we sighed and wrote off any chance of seeing another launch.

Well, I decided on a whimsy to phone VA and ask how much it would be to fly two days earlier, fully expecting an obscene price given the original tickets were M+M ones.

Imagine my surprise when it was only £140 for both of us! Well, we snapped their hands off and changed our ticket's to the 23rd. So then we spend a few frantic days changing all the other things, hotel, car parking, etc. we're getting to see a launch after all.

And with a lot of luck and considerably more cash than I thought I'd spend, I managed to pick up some Lauch tickets for the NASA causeway! :)

So, we're now going on our longest trip ever (17 days!) and getting to see a shuttle launch again (assuming she goes up this time).

Yay!!!

Oh, if anyone is interested in a NASA Causeway ticket let me know, we had to buy 3... :)
