Last minute booking

How last minute can you book a RCL cruise? Like 7, 6, or 5 days before embarkation?

We have done the last week on DCL, not sure how last minute is allowed on Royal. The process/cut off should be pretty much the same for most cruise lines, but there might be some minor differences. They have to submit the passenger manifest for clearance. That is usually around the 2 day mark. I can confirm that today (7/29) it is still possible to get a 7/31 cruise on Royal and Celebrity.
