Last minute booking

Does anyone know how busy the value resorts are in May. We have POP booked for 5/3-5/9 and we have some family members that are not sure if they can make it or not but should know by the end of March (health issues), do you think that there will still be rooms avail for the value resorts...especially POP by that time for a May vaca? I checked for more recent room avail like in March and April online and they are booked for March and some of April, but my assumption would be for Spring Break?? Help me if you know. Thanks!

Why not just book the rooms and then cancel if you don't need them? My understanding is that as long as you cancel 24 hours out, there's no penalty.

a room only reserv. can be canceled 5 days prior for a refund;so I would tell them to book now; and if needed then cancel. Hope this helps!
