So we have been dealing with a lot lately with family so my cousin and I are taking a trip to the World July 2-6 (land at 2pm on the 2nd, flying home early morning on the 6th). I do rundisney races a couple of times a year and my cousin has been coming to one event per year with me, so we were just there in February. I was also there in May for Star Wars Weekends. So, we are not looking to do everything and understand it will be horribly hot and crowded. We will be doing one day at the parks with a hopper and then one day at the water parks. Here is my plan:
Thursday -
- land 2pm; CBR check-in, lunch and pool time
- 8pm Narcooses, watch 10pm wishes from here
Friday -
- rope drop HS (TSMM, RnRc, TOT, ST, frozen parade)
- walk to EP 1:45 Restaurant Marrakesh lunch, quick walk through countries
- monorail to MK for about 6pm arrival, Splash FP+ 6-7pm, SDMT FP+ 7-8pm
- 7:30 grab QS food to go and find a spot for the 4th fireworks and eat while we wait (will this time work? we ideally want a spot on the tomorrowland side, towards the back of the hub or end of main street)
- Space FP+ 9-10pm
- stay through to 3am EMH
Saturday -
- 10am Grand Floridian Café breakfast
- back to CBR for couple hours of pool/nap time
- bus to MK and monorail to Trader Sam's Grog Grotto about 4 (ok with terrace first and the 2 hour wait as I did this last time)
- watch the EP 4th fireworks from the BC/BWI area at 10pm (just want to see the addition with high fireworks for the 4th - they looked huge in youtube videos!)
- hang out at the boardwalk, get a snack or dessert
Sunday -
- Blizzard beach around 9am opening
- hop to Typhoon Lagoon around 2 for a few hours (mostly just wave pool)
- downtown Disney for late dinner (probably The Boathouse, no ADR)
We both do well with commando park touring and really have few must do's since we were there recently. But, I wonder if there is any way to watch the MK 4th fireworks as well at 9pm, and still get to the BC or BWI to see the EP 4th fireworks by 10:10? We'd have 55 min between shows. We could watch on the poly beach and monorail to MK and take the BC or BWI bus. Or just take a poly bus to HS and walk over. We could probably just take a taxi too if we really wanted to make sure to see them again. Are there any other better options to see either fireworks from that I am forgetting?
Mickey is getting so confused right now. He is still sending me mail thanking me for my last visit, and it is overlapping with tips for our upcoming trip
Thanks for any input!
