Last min deal?

We have decided to surprise my daughter with an extra visit for her 10th Birthday which is in just a few weeks. We really want to stay onsite but cringe at the thought of paying rack rate!!! Is there any way to get a discount on last minute unbooked rooms at a Disney resort? Thanks for your help!!

Unfortunately, not for the dates you are going. I don't think there have been any decent general public discounts for late July early August. It's the height of the busy summer crowd season and they probably just don't need to fill those rooms. People have reported that if you go on the WDW site and save some trip quotes that sometimes they will email you a discount pin code, but I think that's hit or miss and probably not probable for dates in the next few weeks. Sorry.

If you are a AAA member, you can try calling wdw and asking if any AAA rooms are available. If they have anything available, your savings can be around 10-20%. Just keep in mind there may not be anything available since you're booking last minute.
