Like everything else, it depends on the date and the general crowd level.

I've never done it more than once in a trip, so I can't do a very thorough comparison, but I have traveled in consistent (fall) times of year with moderate crowds, always choosing DHS when it is the "recommended" park. Comparing a measly 2 experiences, the 5ish show was much less busy for us than the earlier afternoon. Show (1:00-2:00ish, I don't recall exact time)

Had you asked this question pre-FP+, I would have said that the later show is your best option. However, now with the addition of FP+, I'd say that all of the shows are equally as busy.

The good news though is that the theater is large enough to accommodate crowds and nearly all seats in the middle sections provide an equal viewing experience.

I will say that you likely would miss all of the interactive "set-up" of a Disney host choosing volunteers from the audience to be in the show.

This is our first trip to WDW so I have no idea how large the parks are. I am a DL vet. I am using TP and am suprised it is allowing only 5 minutes to get from one to the other. Obviously it must not account for getting from enterance of theater to seats.
