Friday - 11/16/07 Weather - 75 degrees
DL opened at 8:00 this morning and we were in line by 7:30. We walked through the tunnel and it was Christmas time at DL! Christmas music was being piped in through the speakers on Main, the characters were wearing their festive colors and the carolers were making the season bright with their merry song.
Shelli's family spent some time in the hat shop. They had been searching all week for just the right Mickey Ears for Brandon and finally found what they wanted.
We started in Frontierland and made our way back to Santa's Roundup.
After our visit with Santa, it was time to head down to the Golden Corral. Today we were having lunch with the Billies. We got a table right up front. As usual, the show as excellent and food was good. Note: I ordered a piece of chocolate cake for dessert...the piece was so big that 4 of us shared it. Favorite joke: Why does Tigger hop? Answer: So he doesn't step on Pooh.
After lunch, Shelli's family went over to DCA. I don't know if it was because my guys were just worn out or what, but they wanted to go back to the hotel and watch a movie. Watch a movie when your at DL! Now...I just didn't understand that at all. No way was I going to go sit in a hotel room on my last day with Mickey! Some of the magic disappeard for me, but it didn't last long. I called Kristyl on her cell and we decided that I would spend the rest of the day with them over at DCA until it was time for the Christmas Parade at DL that night.
