I'm not sure how to plan for the last day of our vacation. I plan on checking out of the hotel early in order to have the whole day free, but since we will be packed, swimming and shopping are ruled out. We will have park passes for that day. Our flight leaves at 6:55 pm. Since we are taking ME, we are probably free to have fun until 4 pm pm or so. One caveat is that our last day is 11/19, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. I expect this will be a popular arrival day for families who are spending Thanksgiving at Disney.

Do you have any suggestions about which parks would be least crowded? Should I avoid MK on a Saturday? Should I get to the parks early then plan a nice meal when it gets crowded? Should I go to a breakfast buffet after checking out then visit a park? I think I have too many options to choose from.

Thank you.

We always go to MK on our last day and get there at opening. We make an ADR for lunch which is when it starts getting hot and crowded! Before heading over to sign in for lunch we pick up fast passes for our favorite ride and hopefully it works out that we walk right on after lunch! A few more rides then back to the resort for the last time! :earsboy:

We go to Mk on our last day, even if it's crowded. We get there when it opens and stay until lunch time. I usually make PS's at one of the monorail hotels or Wilderness Lodge for a nice lunch. After that, we head to the airport. Have fun with whatever you decide to do!

The best advice I can give you is: Have a terrific time! ;)

Thank you.

Definitely a park or two and some kind of meal is in order on our last day. It sounds like it might be better to get to the parks early and make a reservation for a nice lunch rather than do a big restaurant breakfast and get to the parks a little later. It is hard for me to predict which parks my kids will most want to re-visit on our last day in order to decide which restaurant to choose. So maybe it makes the most sense to make the meal reservation near our hotel where we will eventually have to go to pick up ME?

We like the idea of leaving our last day "open." All we have planned is a 9 am breakfast at Bomas. Yet we are not making any plans ahead of time for the rest of that last day. We may want to go back to a family favorite attraction, or maybe do something we missed out on during the week. Just keepin' it open and flexible! ;) By the way-have a wonderful adventure!

We always have a "park marathon" our last day, trying to hit one or two favorites at each park. My kids are older so it makes it doable. It is a contest to see if we can get to all of them. We move quickly and laugh alot so we don't have to think about leaving. :sad2:

If you want to go to MK, you could always book a breakfast at Chef Mickey's before heading over to MK and have that last spin on the monorail :goodvibes .
