Last day of your trip.

I usually book the 6pm flight back home, so the last day's schedule is to pack up, check out and store my bags, then head to a park for a late breakfast/early lunch and a wander around, and back at the resort by 2pm for the 3pm pick up. Last trip the last day park was EPCOT and I spent the time strolling around WS one last time, taking in the holiday decor and special festivities.

Our last day is always the same. Get up and get packed. We always catch a flight home later in the day so we arrange for a late check out. Something that is easy to secure when you go in the off season. Have a nice breakfast at the hotel (always All Star Music) and then we head over to the Magic Kingdom. No rides this time, just a carefree walk down Main Street and then we sit for awhile, have our last Mickey Ice Cream bar and enjoy the crowds. When it is time to leave, we walk into the middle of Main Street and say goodbye to the Castle and than thank Walt for his dream. I am 65 and I still tear up a bit, even though we know we'll be back in another year. We have done it every year this way since 2009.

Last full day is ended at MK. We have park hoppers so we might start at one park but we always end at MK. This past trip we hopped from Epcot, AK and ended at MK.

On our last day I try to get a late flight and spend some time in MK. This past trip we had a 10 pm flight but it was Veteran's Day weekend. I did NOT want to touch MK that Sunday. I heard MK was a level 10 crowd so good decision. Instead I made FP+ at DHS so we got an extra ride on SDD plus our favorites, ToT and RnRC. We shopped a bit, went back to the Boardwalk, relaxed and had dinner at Beaches and Cream before ME picked us up at BWV at 7 pm.

We like to do Bon Voyage, then go to a park of the children's choice, since we have already covered everything. Last time we went to MK because the girls wanted to ride Splash Mountain. It was fine since we were leaving. It was also a CM party day, so they were closing at 4:30-5:00. That was fine with us, as we were driving anyway. Also not crowded. Practically everything was a walk on. They did a lot of things again, and caught up with some characters they had previously missed. (Merida, Stitch). After breakfast, we went on Splash, then I had managed to get fps for 7DMT and PP, so we headed over there where we picked up fps for Dumbo and Pooh. We went on the Little Mermaid ride, then IASW, saw Merida, then the Speedway. We decided to make 1 last Speedway run, and since we didn't have to wait we figured we could do the people mover. Once that was done, we had around 25 minutes to park close, so we hopped on the Buzz ride and caught Stitch on the way out of the park. Overall, a good farewell day. A very crowded time, too. It was F&W, the Marathon ended the day before, and it was the beginning of Jersey Week.

it always depends on our ADR schedule. We don't always go to the same park the last day. If it's a park we've been to already that trip, we just hit the highlights. Maybe go get a nice breakfast somewhere first.

Usually it is a day at MK or DHS, and it's our second or third time there that trip. But we don't follow a specific formula. It just depends on how everything falls into place.
