Last day of your trip.

We always take the latest flight available to squeeze one more park day in. Epcot is always our finishing park. We pack up as much as we can the night before and the morning of. Bell services holds our bags or if we have a car we pack up and head out. We love going to Epcot to soak in a little more sun, slow it down, shop and eat around the countries before we leave.

A late flight was my original plan. We booked it last summer for 6:45pm, and received an email over Christmas that it was changed to 12:45 pm . But this sounds great - I am thinking Epcot will be our last day too. Considering the FEA dessert party since my daughter loves Elsa/Anna.

If I have an annual pass, I usually go into a park. Normally MK.

If I don't have an annual pass, I save most of my shopping until then and go to Disney Springs.

We agreed we just can’t enjoy a park much knowing we have to leave later that day. Last day we usually head to the airport for an early flight or hit DS for brunch then airport. Nice to not rush around or deal with crowds the last day. Bonus if we can sleep in. That may change now that we have APs.

Many times we have an early flight due to where we live. Once we had a later flight and we hit up the pool which was relaxing.

Our last day has always been breakfast at Kona Cafe, pool time, resort hopping, and packing...BUT this year will be very different. Our last day falls on August 29, opening day of Galaxy's Edge, so we will be among the mass of humanity at DHS. Should make for a very interesting last day.:D

Depends on if your referring to last day or departure day. Our last day of the trip is MK always and we close it down and take our time shopping on our way out. Departure day we get up, pack, have breakfast at the resort then head out. We drive (7 hours)so we're not rushed to be anywhere but home.

Our last day we visit MK/HS/and usually another park too. We go pretty much all day long. Try to pack a little the day before, so that night isn't too hectic. We do some more packing, then finish packing the next day. Departure day we always leave early so don't have much time to do anything.

We always drive down, so no flight to catch. We check out and pack up the car in the morning and head to MK. We usually stay til dinner, we’ll eat and then hit the road, to make the most depressing drive ever.

This summer is our first trip with a late flight out (10 pm).

PLANNING on packing up and turning over luggage to airline check in; hit whichever park we agree on; early dinner reservation at Homecomin' and a little shopping before we Uber to airport.

I hope we can enjoy our last day and not continuously think about leaving.

My initial answer was for departure day. Last real full park day? We always save MK fireworks for that night and stay as late as they're open. The last two trips we did a dessert party, too. :)

My hubby travels for business and we use his free nights before and after the trip, so our last park day, we check out of the hotel, move bags to storage, go to MK or any ride we might have missed before that is a must-do.

We stay out as late as possible, then head back to the hotel, where a car service will pick us up and take us to an airport hotel.

Our flight will be late morning /early afternoon the next day, so no wasting of the last day in the parks, and we get to relax and sleep in before the flight!

MK is always the last park we visit when we come to Disney. Since it's not the first because I choose to start our visit with AK I always make it the last and visit over 2 days. Our departure day is usually a couple of hours at Disney Springs. This allows us to sleep in a bit later and head out right at check out time.

Our last day is actually the day before we leave. We do Magic Kingdom all day and then dinner at Ohana. The next day we drive home.

That stinks! :sad2: It's one of our favorites. We tried MK years ago but it was sooo busy (it was a Friday.) I'd rather be relaxed not running to rides and dealing with crowds. FEA sounds like a perfect ending :) Enjoy!

Just curious: What is your typical itinerary on the last day of your trip? Parks? Relax? Resort? Special Restaurants/events?

ETA: The last park day, not necessarily departure day =)

Last park day is usually our departure day. The past 4 family trips we ended at HS with RD, fastpasses, and lunch. That was pre-TSL/GE. Adult trips we did Epcot on departure day. Next trip we’ll probably either do HS or AK, depending on which days we get FPs. We book our flight home in the evening so we can go to a park the last day.

As Board Walk devotees our last day is DHS in the AM followed by Food&Wine in WS with perhaps a dip in the pool. PM it's back to WS for Illuminations or whatever replaces that by Oct then we catch some acts on the boards. I try to get a flight out in the early afternoon so we can have a few drinks in the airport where we start to plan for next year.

Always MK for fireworks! A great ending to the week! Then we fly home the next morning.

Normally our last day is packing and pool time. This year, it looks like we're going bonkers and will be attempting to check out the opening of SWGE :scared1: It really does seem like a bad idea, but I'm not sure I can resist.
