Hi. I'm looking for suggestions for our last day at WDW. Our plane takes off at 3:35p, and we don't have a car, so we don't have a lot of time, but we don't want to just pack and leave. We have a character breakfast scheduled, but I don't think it will work- it's at 10:30 at the BC and we are staying at ASMo... we made it late because we aren't morning people, and we would already have to be waiting for a bus at like 9:15. We are also travelling with our son, so I don't think he'd appreciate waiting around all day at bus stops and airports... But we really want one last bit of fun! We thought about going swimming at the resort, but then we have to deal with wet clothes and hair... Any suggestions? :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

We like going to DTD when we are running short on time. It's still a bit of Disney, but free, so you don't feel you are wasting a day on a ticket. Of course it never ends up being free after the shopping, but you know what I mean.

On our last trip we had a late afternoon flight too. We went to the Disney outlets and found some really good deals. The only problem was squeezing the stuff into our carry-on's. We then had lunch at the Race Rock Cafe closer to Sea World.

We usually do DTD or mini-golf on our last day. :wave2:

Can we get to all these places (I know i can get to DTD) using Disney transportation? They're all great ideas, thanks! Keep 'em coming :cheer2:

HI, Downtown Disney with lunch at the RainForest Cafe. I think your son would LOVE it here! Joan

That sounds great, but I don't think we can afford it :sad2: Luckily we have a Rainforest Cafe nearby! I think we will go to DTD, though, any other restaraunt suggestions?

Wolfgang Puck Express (there's one on the marketplace side, as well as West Side), or Earl of Sandwich. Both are quick (depending on how long the lines are), affordable, and delicious!

Sounds yummy... Right now I'm so hungry I'd eat the a** end of a dead rhino!

Have you already bought your tickets? If you did, were they MYW? If so, upgrades may only be a dollar or two.

You didn't give details as to your trip, and although I have an AP I've been helping several sets of friends put together trips. The price difference between 7-10 day MYW passes are so low that they've been getting longer passes to last until the last day. Even if you only spend a few hours, it may be worth it.

That way, you could pack, checkout, put your bags in storage at the resort, and spend your last morning at your favorite park.

Something to look into.

I agree with NEDisney - For example, the difference between a 6 day & a 7 day MYW w/ Hopping is only $1.00. I was just looking at ticket prices for my Step-son & his family last night.

I could easily justify $1.00 for several hours in the Park for a young one before all the sitting & waiting involved with air travel.

I would highly recommend Park time on that last day. Let the little guy burn of some steam & wear himself out a little before traveling.

Another option would be to go to the Petting Zoo at Fort Wilderness. To get to it without a car you would have to take Disney Transportation to MK then the boat to Fort Wilderness.
