I'm thinking of adding a character Breakfast as late as possible on our check out day. Would you choose Cape May or Chef Mickey's? Why? We will be checking out of POR but do not fly out till later in the day. We do not really want to use park ticket for that day though we will have days left (plan on using them next trip)

Is there much of a difference in travel time from POR?

We will already be doing:
Ohana breakfast, 1600 Park fair Dinner, CP Lunch, Coral Reef, Boma, H & V fantasmic package

If you vote other non park please give me good character Breakfast or lunch options not in the parks.

Thanks

If your planning on not using a park ticket on your last day then I would recommend Cape May. I'm not sure what time the last ADR for the character breakfast would be. The Beach Club area would also give you something to do after breakfast. You could walk around the Boardwalk, rent a surry bike and bike around, have an ice cream at Beaches and Cream or over on the Boardwalk side and either rent some water mice or just take the boat ride to Epcot, MGM and back to the Beach Club. The Boardwalk / Beach Club area is close to POR. It would be a cheap cab fare. You could also take the bus to MGM and then walk (about 1/2 hour at a leisurely pace) or take the boat to the Beach Club. As I sit here and write all of these ideas down, it sounds like a very nice day. Have fun.

Forget the cab! The boat trip not only uses up time, but is quite relaxing. We actually started our last trip by arriving at POR, busing to MGM and boating to Beaches and Cream. Afterwards a walk around the whole area before leaving from the Dolphin. It was a great way to start the trip, and to refresh ideas for our next trip as far as our culinary plans!

I like CM a lot but I would probably pick Cape May. I would hate to go all the way over to Contemporary and actually see MK and not go in it :guilty:

Take a cab to Beach Club, go to Cape May and then walk the Boardwalk until you need to go to the airport. Cape May is a good way to end the trip - more calmer. CM is a good beginning of the trip place to eat, lively and exciting.

You read my mind! Leaving WDW is always a sad day for me. I could never be in the mood to celebrate anything at CM's. I prefer going on the first evening of our trip than hopping over to the Poly for a view of Wishes from the beach.

I would also pick Cape May although we have never been. I have heard many good reviews about this character meal.

As for us, we are in the same position as the OP, we are not going to the parks on the last day. We will be going to Typhoon or Blizzard.
