Last Dance Disney style

My FH and I are not getting married at Disney, just disneymooning. I was thinking of making our last dance at our reception a slow-ish Disney song. I was thinking "A Whole New World" but I'm not sure if I am digging that song. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a great send off type song?

We actually used Kiss the Girl during our cake cutting and our last dance was to when you wish upon a star.

how about the song that goes... "...a dream is a wish your heart makes, when your fast asleep..." I've always thought that was a sweet song. It's not "love" specific, but when you marry your sweetheart your dreams come true.

It is so funny that you mention this because I am using a Disney song for my last dance. I actually bought the Disney's Wedding Fairytale CD to be played at the reception. You can check Amazon.com and they will let you listen to samples of the songs. They are all instumental and we are playing "So This Is Love" from Cinderella. The Cd is wonderful and extremely romantic. A great finishing touch to a perfect evening. Let me know what you think.

WE used the exit song for Wishes. I then made a cute compilation from disney attractions,etc. saying goodbye that played after that.

Promise is a great song, but I want something my guests will recognize as a Disney song.

We didn't do a last song dance by ourselves...but with everyone and mickey and minnie...it was "now its time to say goodbye..."

We also did not get married at disney, but had a disney themed wedding. We used "When you wish upon a star" as our last song.
Our first dance was "So this is love"

On the WISHES soundtrack there is a version of When you wish upon a star... butbefore the song begins there is a lead in done by jiminy cricket. He says something along the lines of:

Thanks folks for making this little gathering of ours extra special, good night...soemthing something...

then it starts...when you wish upon a star....


DH and i used this as the last dance at our wdw wedding and it was perfect it was so appropriate b/c our dreams certainly did come true that night

I would have to second "Promise" from illuminations, someone else posted it as "we go on".. but it's called "Promise". "Remember the Magic" by Bryan McKnight is also a very good choice... and I think it was played at the closing of something, I just can't place it.
