The Princess half is my first race in WDW. I do not have a qualifying time to turn in, so I'm guessing I already go to the last Corral. I read on another post that they wont start till 6:30am. Does that mean I can leave an hour later or would I be risking it?

I wouldnt risk it at ALL-

They are using the staggered starts so there is no exact time when the corrals will start plus with all the added security they have been shuffling runners to the corrals faster and more efficiently and I would hate to get caught on the other side of the coin in case its harder to get through a 'cleared area' (no exact idea just the vibe they gave out via announcements at the Jan races)

Plus the walk from the staging area to the corrals takes longer than one may think esp if you arn't familiar or things get backlogged-

Disney races are best treated as 'hurry up and wait' get there early, potty earlier, get to the corrals early and its a 100x less stressful than trying to do it at the same time as 25,000+ other runners with the exact same agenda...

I would get there early.
I did not submit a proof of time and I am in Corral M, they are from from A-P, so you may or may not be in the last corral.
And I hear the lines for the port-a-potties can get looooong!

There will be a race booklet published very soon on line and also handed out at the expo. Take time to read the book and understand your race morning schedule. If the book says buses run from 3-4 AM, then be on the bus before 4AM. You can get there a little later but every once in a while a traffic snafu will occur and you really do not want to miss your start due to a snafu.

There are a series of road closings and security is a lot tougher this year. Plan on the hurry up and wait mentality and you will do fine.
